Launch of the GOPIO Malaysia Entrepreneur Forum, Networking Dinner & Awards
On 15 April 2025, the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) Malaysia officially launched the GOPIO Malaysia Entrepreneur Forum, Networking Dinner & Awards during a gathering held at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre.
The event was led by GOPIO Malaysia Business Council Chairman, Sivem Dorairajah, and brought together 40 participants, including entrepreneurs, professionals, and community representatives interested in strengthening business engagement within the Malaysian Indian diaspora.
Introducing a Dedicated Entrepreneurial Platform
The launch event was graced by the High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, B. N. Reddy, whose presence highlighted the importance of fostering entrepreneurship, collaboration, and innovation among diaspora communities.
The GOPIO Malaysia Entrepreneur Forum is intended to serve as a structured platform for entrepreneurs and professionals of Indian origin to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for business growth and collaboration. The initiative also aims to encourage greater participation in business-related activities organised under the GOPIO network.
