The Ayurveda Conference, held on 16th September 2024 at Appudurai Hall, gathered 100 participants to delve into the timeless principles of Ayurveda and their relevance to modern living. Chaired by Dr. M. Bala Tharmalingam and inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Maniway, First Secretary of the Indian High Commission for Malaysia, the event emphasized the integration of Ayurvedic lifestyle practices into daily routines for enhanced well-being.

The conference featured seven distinguished speakers who delivered expert sessions on various aspects of Ayurveda. Topics included dietary recommendations, the use of herbs and remedies for disease prevention, and holistic approaches to immune strengthening and longevity. Participants also gained practical knowledge on detoxification and rejuvenation therapies, learning how to restore balance and vitality while aligning their lifestyles with nature for long-term health and well-being.

In conjunction with the conference, an Ayurveda Clinic was conducted earlier that day, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, co-organized by the Malaysian Association of Traditional Indian Medicine (PEPTIM). The clinic offered attendees personalized insights into Ayurvedic treatments and preventive care practices. Over 100 participants benefited from this hands-on experience, discovering ways to incorporate Ayurveda’s holistic principles into their lives to promote wellness and prevent disease.

Together, the clinic and conference inspired attendees to embrace Ayurveda’s sustainable and natural approach to health. By fostering greater awareness of its benefits in contemporary life, the event highlighted Ayurveda’s enduring relevance in promoting a balanced, harmonious, and healthy lifestyle.
