The Nepal Deluxe Tour, organised by the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) in collaboration with Anaraz Holidays Sdn Bhd, took place from 9th to 18th September 2024. This carefully curated trip brought together 10 participants for a unique journey blending spirituality, culture, and natural beauty across four iconic Nepalese destinations: Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chandragiri, and Nagarkot.

Key Highlights:

Kathmandu – Participants delved into Nepal’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage by visiting ancient temples, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and bustling bazaars in the vibrant capital city.

Pokhara – Known for its tranquil lakes and panoramic views of the Himalayas, Pokhara provided moments of serenity and awe, enriching the group’s experience.

Chandragiri Hills – A spectacular cable car ride to Chandragiri Hills offered breathtaking views and spiritual significance, leaving a profound impact on the travellers.

Nagarkot – Renowned for its stunning sunrise views over the Himalayas, Nagarkot allowed participants to connect with nature in a deeply moving way.

Purpose and Impact

The tour was designed as more than a sightseeing experience; it served as a platform for cross-cultural exchange and fostering camaraderie among participants. Through shared stories and experiences amidst Nepal’s sacred landscapes, meaningful connections were formed within the group. This initiative also strengthened ties between Malaysia and Nepal, promoting a deeper appreciation for Nepal’s rich cultural identity and traditions.
