GOPIO is organising the GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival from 20th to 28th October 2016 at the KL Sentral Car Park, beside NU Sentral in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.
GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival is organised in collaboration with SS Smart Network Sdn Bhd and DP Ganaa Networks Sdn Bhd. The GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival is in conjunction with Deepavali and is organised to promote and celebrate Indian culture and heritage.
The GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival offers more than 130 sales booths with traders from India and Malaysia selling various merchandises, ranging from textiles to sweets. Traders from Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Punjab, Penang, Johore and Klang Valley will offer various merchandise ranging from apparels to sweets. GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival will be held for 9 days from 12.00 noon to 10.00 pm.
The Deputy Minister for Federal Territories YB Senator Dato’ Dr Loga Bala grace the Official Opening of the GOPIO International Deepavali Carnival on Friday 21st October at 8.00 pm.
Among the highlights of the GIDC are the special appearances of South Indian actor Arya and actress Amala Paul on 25th October 2016 at 8.00 pm.
Contests and other activities are planned for all 9 days and popular Malaysian artistes are to perform for all the 9 evenings. Tamil dailies Makkal Osai and Tamil Malar are the Official Media Partners.
