A special Film Exhibition took place from September 14 to 16, 2024, at Ramakrishna Hall, co-organized by the Malaysian Indian Heritage Society and Vanvim Studio, with the support of FINAS. The event served as a tribute to the remarkable contributions of PIO filmmakers in Malaysia, drawing about 500 visitors. Featuring an engaging array of activities, the exhibition included screenings of classic and contemporary films that reflected the narratives and themes resonating within the PIO community.
The exhibition celebrated the legacy of Malaysian cinema by spotlighting the contributions of iconic Malaysian actors from the past and showcasing the achievements of prominent PIO directors in Malay cinema.
