KALYANA RAJASEKARAN TEAGARAJAN was born in 1978. He was the second of four children, to Dato VKK Teagarajan, and Datin Indrani Teagarajan. Raja, or VKK Raja as he is known to many, was brought up in kl. He attended St John Secondary School in KL and then went on to APIIT College, where he was the student Council president from year 2000 to 2002. An avid hockey player, he was Team Manager and played for the College team.
Further to illustrate his capacity, he was the founder and pro-term chairman of the young entrepreneurs or YES club under the kl and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) in 2004 and currently heading the YES committees for the chambers. He is involved in political arena as the MIC divisional treasurer in Bukit Bintang and Chairman of Medan Tuanku Branch. He is also the president for KL Hindu Youth Organisation, a religious group promoting Hinduism culture through functions and events.
Raja enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he play sports, taking his son to jungle gym, enjoys travelling, and loves trying out new restaurants with his wife.
