Malaysian Indian Business Cum Economic Forum

The GOPIO Business Economic Forum was held on May 28th, 2023, at the Subang Jaya Golf Club, jointly organised by several major PIO business chambers. The central focus of this event was to engage in thorough discussions and deliberate reflections concerning the various challenges faced by the PIO business community. The crux of these deliberations revolved around the collective pursuit of viable solutions to address the identified issues. GOPIO played a pivotal role in this event.

Chief Guest for the conference was YB Senator Puan Saraswathy Kanthasamy. The forum successfully drew the participation of a total of 200 attendees, each contributing their insights to the enriching discourse. A noteworthy outcome of this forum was the establishment of an Indian Economic Studies Secretariat. This strategic initiative holds the potential to facilitate comprehensive studies and analyses of the evolving trends and dynamics within the Indian economic landscape.
