Aged 54, DATO’ DR S. VELAITHAM born in Brickfields, kl. Upon completing his education in M.C.E Level, he furthered his studies and obtained a Degree in Mater of Business (Entrepreneurship) from University of Rockhampton. He pursued a Degree in Doctor of Philosophy in Food Technology and obtained a doctorate.
The legend group of companies his been involved in edible business since 1982. DATO’ DR S. VELAITHAM is very committed business professional who had immense experience in the international trade of food products for more than 30 years. His experience includes the manufacturing an exporting of food stuff as well as restaurant business, where he had built a wide network of clients locally and globally. Over the years, DATO’ DR S. VELAITHAM has built an excellent reputation. The very broad business network of DATO’ DR S. VELAITHAM would continue to pave the way to develop into a prominent player in the international market.
In recognition of his contribution to the business community he was awarded the title “Dato” by HRH THE Sultan of Pahang in 2009. His company was the award winner of the business excellence award 2006 and recently won certificate of achievements “SMEs Rising Star Award 2010.
Today with the strong and continuous support from family members and staffs, he has turned around the business and made legend’s Clay pot Biryani house as tradename, and has franchised the name throughout Malaysia, with plans to open outlets abroad.
