Malaysian task force to help Indian members resolve their problems

Malaysia’s Special Implementation Task Force for Indians will have a meet-the-people in Kulim on Saturday to know about their problems.
Human Resources Minister Dr S. Subramaniam said during the session, members of the task force would listen to the various problems faced by the Indian community and help to resolve them.
“Officials from various government departments and agencies will be on hand to address the problems,” he said, adding that the meeting would take place at Dewan Putra in Taman Selasih.
Dr Subramaniam, who is also MIC vice-president, said representatives from the National Registration Department would be present to handle the issuance of birth certificates and identity cards, The Star reports.
Other agencies to send their representatives to the meeting include the Social Welfare Department, Skills Development Department, Tekun Nasional and Socso. (ANI)
