Indian Aviation Law Courses For Malaysia

NEW DELHI, Sept 17 (Bernama) — A premier Hyderabad-based legal institution has selected Malaysia as a prime overseas market to promote its highly demanded aviation law courses.
Plans by the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (Nalsar), University of Law, located in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, is gaining momentum, as officials are sorting out preliminary details.
Nalsar’s head of Air and Space Law Department, Prof V. Balakista Reddy told Bernama that plans were in the pipeline to extend courses to two overseas markets, namely Malaysia and Germany.
“The aviation industry is growing, both the airport and airlines sectors are expanding. There is a growing need for these courses in countries like Malaysia. We are planning to extend our post-graduate courses there,” he said.
In the offing is the post-graduate Diploma in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management course, which is becoming popular among professionals in the airline, airport and aerospace industries.
The university, established in 1998 and specialises in legal education and promotes research in all branches of law, was ranked number one law institute in India in a 2008 survey.
Nalsar has student and faculty exchange agreements with many renowned universities and higher learning institutions around the world to impart aviation education.
